East Austin Youth Baseball
& Softball Since 1975
The Greater East Austin Youth Association (GEAYA) is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit organization founded in 1975 to bring organized youth sports to economically disadvantaged families in East Austin, Texas. As a chartered Little League baseball and softball program, GEAYA fields teams from Tee Ball through Juniors for boys and Minors through Seniors for girls softball.
Home games are played at Mabson Field at 12th and Alexander Avenue in East Austin — a community field that has hosted generations of young athletes across five decades. Spring 2026 was a milestone season: 13 teams and more than 140 youth athletes took the field in GEAYA's largest Opening Day lineup in league history.
GEAYA's mission has never changed: give every East Austin child a safe, structured, and fun environment where they can compete, build friendships, and learn teamwork, respect, discipline, and sportsmanship. Community support keeps participation accessible for every family.
